Important Notice for members:

administrators

some commands:
-> /title text, /topic text, /kick username, /promote username, /demote username, /admin create privclass Name etc.

If somebody wants to change the title/topic, first inform the founder of the chat, ~SolidSake.
The title/topic is saved offline in a .txt-file, so if somebody changes it by accident, there's no need to worry.


secondary administrators

some commands:
-> /kick username, /promote username, /demote username

You should be able to put people in the same privclass as you do (if you're in LegendarySoldiers you should be able to promote someone into the same privclass, but not above). You can ban and unban people too.


members

some commands:
-> /promote username, /demote username

You can demote Guests (Chinaman) and Members(SnakesArmy) to Censored (TortureRoom) if they're bothering. However, you can't promote a Guest (Chinaman) to make him a Member (SnakesArmy). Just demote/promote if it's really necessary.



Rules:

1.) Treat people right. We don't want arguments and senseless insults in our chat, so if you have to carry out something, use the note service of deviantArt.
However, we like to see you share your opinion with others in a non-offending, objective way.

2.) Don't Spam. Sending Spam messages is innappropiate, like flooding the room with a bunch of "lol"'s etc., thumbs or icons. However, if you start a so called "icon war" we will tolerate it in a certain level.

3.) If you don't stick on these rules the present admins will kick you out of the chat!


FAQ's

What is the purpose of this chat?
This chat is made to create a place to discuss with eachother and mostly to have fun.

How do I become a member?
To become a member all you have to do is visiting the chat occasionally. You don't really need to be a MGS fan, and we don't blame you for not having enough time for chatting.
Contact the admins (see below ) to ask for becoming a member. The admin will make this decision by his own.

How do I become an admin?
You have to be a trustworthy person who judges fair. To prevent arguments you have to pass a special test before you get promoted. The content of this test is top secret, but it will show us your qualification.

I was kicked. What shall I do now?
You can join the chat again. However, there must be a reason for beeing kicked, for example spamming or offending. However, you still have the chance to join the chat to make things out.

When do I get banned?
You get banned if you are annoying the community to much. That means, if you were kicked out of the chat several times, you may have to be worried to get banned.
However, because of the of principle of forgiveness and return we are willed to unban people again.

What happens if an admin kicked me baseless?
If this happens, contact the founder of this chat and report him the matter. The founder will make the decision whether the admin can keep his privilege or not. Kicking a member out of the chat withouth reason can lead into beeing kicked or getting banned by yourself, including demoting. This depends on the weight of the misdoing.


How can I submit a chat quote?
Simply send a note to ~SolidSake. If the quote is interesting or funny, it will be posted in the next MGS chat quotes page.
